These lucky guys.  Lucky, lucky guys.  This dazzling image of my nephews that I’m sure holds a soft, warm, squishy, horrible smelling place in their hearts was taken just at the beginning of the pandemic.  Kids everywhere were probably initially enthusiastic about the idea of getting some time off from school, an extra spring break.  This entire episode has been a tremendous learning experience in so many ways not the least of which for them is that what looks like a vacation can turn out to be a slog through the muck. Plus they had to endure listening to me go on and on about how this builds character, establishes good work ethic, builds strength and how they will one day be able to lecture their kids about the filthy, back breaking jobs they had to do way back when during times of plague.  Did I mention what lucky guys they are?
